Terms of Participation in an Organised Trip

General terms

Royalty Escapes sets out the terms of participation in organised and individual trips. All participants automatically accept these terms upon registration. The contract concerns travellers, their families and any entity (companies, associations, schools) financially covering the participation.

Bookings & payments

• More than 20 days before departure: 30% deposit
• 15–20 days before: 50% deposit
• Within 10 days: full payment

For the participation to be valid, the trip must be paid in full at the latest 10 days before departure.

Company liability & limitations

Royalty Escapes coordinates the services but has no direct control over third-party providers (hotels, airlines, carriers). It bears no liability for service interruptions, flight delays, accidents, health problems, weather conditions or loss of items. Any complaints must be submitted within 7 days of return, with the relevant documentation.

Traveller obligations

Travellers must hold valid travel documents (passports, visas), arrive on time at departure points, supervise accompanying children and follow the guide's instructions. Absence from scheduled activities entails loss of the service without compensation.

Cancellation policy

• 35+ days before: €25 retained (administration fee)
• 34–15 days before: 50% retained
• 14 days up to departure: up to 100% of the cost

Illness, medical procedures and accidents are not grounds for cancellation without cancellation insurance.

Insurance recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing private travel insurance covering cancellation due to serious illness or accident, as group coverage is limited.
