Itinerary
Athens / Thessaloniki – Colombo
We depart via a connecting airport, spend the night on board, and arrive in Colombo the following day.
Colombo – Pinnawala – Anuradhapura
We land in colourful, lively Colombo, where a warm welcome awaits with traditional flower garlands. We continue to Pinnawala and Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura – Mihintale – Habarana
A journey back in time to historic Anuradhapura, the island's first capital and one of Sri Lanka's most important archaeological sites. We wander among colonnades and ruins, then continue to Mihintale.

Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – a food experience
We climb the striking rock of Sigiriya, one of the country's most emblematic monuments, crossing the ancient water gardens and taking in the frescoes of the Heavenly Maidens. Polonnaruwa follows, and a food experience.

Habarana – Dambulla – Matale – Peradeniya – Kandy
A visit to the Dambulla cave temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with more than 150 statues of the Buddha. We continue through Matale and Peradeniya to Kandy.

Kandy – the Giragama tea estate – Beruwala
A visit to a tea estate to follow the journey of famous Ceylon tea from leaf to cup, with a tour of the factory and a tasting. We then leave for the coast at Beruwala.

A day to unwind in Beruwala
The day is given over to rest. We leave the guided tours behind and settle on the golden sands of Beruwala, with the sun and the sea.

Transfer to the airport and the return flight to Greece, via a connecting airport.
