Itinerary
Athens – Lisbon
We gather at the airport for the flight to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, built across seven hills. Transfer and check-in at the hotel.
Lisbon, a guided tour
Our tour is given over to this picturesque, welcoming city, which has kept its charm intact through repeated invasions and the devastating earthquake of 1755.

A delightful excursion around Lisbon: fairy-tale Sintra, cosmopolitan Cascais and Estoril, Cabo da Roca — the westernmost point of mainland Europe — and the Park of Nations.

We set off for Porto. The first stop is Fátima, the great centre of Catholicism, then Batalha with its striking monastery.

We drive to Coimbra, Portugal's first university city and one of the oldest in Europe, stopping in the Buçaco forest and in picturesque Aveiro, ‘the Venice of Portugal’.

We head for Lisbon airport, stopping at the fishing village of Nazaré and the walled medieval town of Óbidos.
