Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Málaga

The flight to Málaga. We arrive late in the evening; transfer and check-in at the hotel.

Day 2

Málaga

A walk through the historic centre: Calle Larios, the Plaza de la Constitución, the ‘La Manquita’ cathedral, the Picasso Museum, the Centre Pompidou and Muelle 1.

Day 3

Málaga – Gibraltar – Jerez

We leave for Gibraltar. After the border check we visit the Rock, then continue to Jerez de la Frontera.

Day 4

Jerez – Cádiz – Seville

A walk through the historic centre of Jerez, with the bodegas of the famous sherry wines. We continue to Cádiz, the oldest city in Western Europe, and end in Seville.

Day 5

Seville, a guided tour

A panoramic tour by coach, then a walking tour of the beautiful capital of Andalusia.

Day 6

Seville – Córdoba – Granada

We leave for Córdoba, Lorca's ‘distant and alone’, once capital of the Caliphate. We then continue to Granada.

Day 7

Granada & the Alhambra

We set off for the hill of the Alhambra — ‘the red castle’, as its Arabic name has it — and tour its palaces and gardens.

Day 8

Granada – Ronda – Málaga – return

We leave for the famous White Villages (Pueblos Blancos), stopping at Ronda, carved into its cliff. Transfer to Málaga airport and the return flight.

Notes

  • The trip starts from either Málaga or Seville — the circuit is the same, with the visits in reverse order. Ask us which departure is available.
  • A passport, or an identity card in Latin characters, is required to visit the Alhambra and Gibraltar.
