Itinerary
Athens – Cairo
We gather at the airport for the direct flight to the Egyptian capital. The view of the Nile and the pyramids from the cabin window confirms you chose well.

Welcome to Cairo, or Al-Qahirah, the second largest city in Africa. Founded by the Arabs in 989 AD, this warm and teeming city beside the desert is a blend of ancient and modern Egypt.

Cairo – Luxor
An early-morning transfer to the airport for the one-hour flight to Luxor, built on the site of ancient Thebes. We board the river boat.

A guided tour of the west bank and the Valley of the Kings, one of the most significant finds of ancient Egypt, with more than 60 tombs — among them that of Tutankhamun.

After breakfast we leave Aswan. Transfer to the airport and the flight back to Cairo.

An early start by road, across the Suez Canal, to cross the coloured Sinai desert with its Bedouin, ending at St Catherine's.

St Catherine's Monastery – Cairo
An early transfer to St Catherine's Monastery, a landmark of Christianity. The monks show visitors through the whole site. We return to Cairo.
